Their food is so good. Sseriously today i had this meal, and it wasn't even a main it was like an entree and i have never tasted food that delicious. It was the tastiest meal i've had in in like 100 years and i wish i was there right now again chowing down more vegtarian delights. Oh how i feel the truth of my sentiment about vegtarian foods that a good vegtarian dish beats the fuck out of any meat dish. Even a good meat dish. I'd rather eat a good quality vegtarian dish than a 100 dollar steak anyday. Those mushrooms i ate today were so goo an.....

Some days i really fucking miss Paris. I miss Parisienne streets, shops, air and the people. If i was a singer, and Paris was the audience, all i'd say for the entire show is " gosh you are such a beautiful audience tonight ".

This book epitomizes decandence in so many forms. Not only in its choice of wording, sentence structure, and narrative voice but philosophy in life too. Thomas de quincey, you'd be a sport in a heroin off for sure.
The electric kool aid acid test
I'm reading this amongst my bevy of other titles these holidays and i have to say, i am digging. It's kind of really hard to read though because of the format. " New Journalism " as they say it and as Tom Wolfe exhibits in this book and for that era and time, new it would have been.
I feel like i'm simultaneously flipping through a holographic scrap book whilst been yelled at in the ear by a hippie high on acid. With the " maaaan" and the " wooooah " and the " ouuttt off siighhhhtt ". That's how the whole book is written. I kind of wish i was a part of that entire clan in the 60s though. All they did ( well so far anyway ) is ride in this multicolored bus, in fancy dress taking acid and tripping every single day.
They had no jobs, no agenda. They stopped in gas stations, played childish games and frolicked in deserts whilst the sun was setting. They are on their way to New York.
I wish i was on my way to somewhere amazing with amazing people in an amazing vehicle. No, i just read about it in New Journalism.

Yes sir i want to be a sculptor
I went to the Monash Grad show last night and i was especially captivated by the Sculpture room. THIS IS THE ARTFORM THAT I ABSOLUTELY LOVE! Making art in the form of objects that are three dimensional, taking up their own space and bringing forth a life and presence of their own! I was especially psyched on one peice in particular. It's too hard to explain but it was pretty much hundreds of peices of paper that read this artists thoughts, that were taped in coming out of a paper mouth on this big paper head. It swirled all around the head and the space surrounding it. It was great, and i totally felt the artists intention. So many thoughts and experiences, and WORDS packed into this tiny space that is your head. But it's not even tiny, it's eternally expanding and huge! I was very excited by that work.
Seeing all those great works of sculpture got me really anxious to somehow start learning sculpture. I love installation art. The idea of using a room or making artworks that go above peoples heads and up to the ceiling inspires me so much. I'm so jealous that these sculpture artists have the resources and spaces to make their ideas come into real forms.

The appeal to move out is so high
I'm getting pretty worried about my life situation. Being 19, not having my L's, a job or any kind of motivation is not only pitiful but downright embarrassing. Everytime i hear of someone being successful, i always ask how old they are. If they are older, i don't feel bad about myself, but inside i know that does not warrant as an excuse.

I love this album
I gave Black moth such a hard time, used to hate them so much. But this album and various other of their songs have well and truly converted me!
I watched Perfume last night. Was one of the best texts i've ever seen in my life. Everything about it is just brilliant. It was so clever, genius in fact. Suskind created something that was and is much more bigger than he maybe would've realized. I miss seeing it. I would watch it again, but its one of those movies that you can only ever really watch once. I felt like crying near the end when the entire town of Grasse ( I think ) was swept up in this euphoric frenzy. It was actually the shit i live for to see/know/hear.
